Things you need to land a corporate client in as little as 2-4 weeks

I came across this post earlier and felt a tiny bit called out.

It was all about business coaches talking about their clients’ massive successes, making it look like their clients had started from scratch, and – POOF – after working with them for 2 weeks, the clients were raking in the millions…


(ok, that IS slightly exaggerated, but you get my drift)

But surely that is possible?

Now I know that it IS theoretically possible for some to go from zero to the big bucks, but the reality is that most of the people with great results have certain things in place.

Like an offer. Or an audience. Or expertise in selling. Or a combination of all the above ๐Ÿ˜‰

So what do you need to have in place to land a multiple 4 or 5-figure contract with a corporate client in 2-4 weeks?

You need these 5 things

#1 Expertise on your topic. Either from working with individuals/small businesses or previous work experience (this one is non-negotiable, #sorrynotsorry).

#2 A robust offer that speaks to corporate priorities AND is tailored to your prospects’ needs

#3 A list of people and organizations to reach out to with a message that addresses THEIR challenges (this is different to #2)

#4 The ability to use email, LinkedIn, Zoom or a phone

#5 The willingness to make connections, tell people about your offer, your mission, and how you can help them.


โ˜๏ธThis last one is a BIG one.

I am not talking about spammy cold calling or message blasting, but truly smart outreach to either warm or warmed-up prospects.

If you are not willing to speak to people, letting them know how you can help them, then I am afraid getting corporate clients will be hard to achieve (esp. in the short-term).

However, if you are currently making 5-10k in your business, then you already know that values-centred sales conversations are part of running a successful business ๐Ÿ˜‰
